There are several companies offering air source heat pump (ASHP) servicing in Petersfield, Hampshire (GU31/GU32), including independent heat pump specialists and established heating firms covering the town.

I've focused on businesses that explicitly advertise servicing and maintenance of existing heat pumps, rather than companies that only install new systems.

Recommended companies to contact
1.
Ashby Energy

Independent heat pump specialist · Hampshire, Surrey and Sussex

Offers heat pump servicing, fault diagnosis and system optimisation. Its website includes a testimonial from a customer in Petersfield, making it particularly relevant.

Ashby Energy, Solent Heating & Cooling and Heat Pump Service Solutions also advertise coverage of the Petersfield area, but I couldn't verify precise business addresses for those three.

How much should a service cost?

Checkatrade's Petersfield guide gives the following indicative figures:

Typical air source heat pump service

£176–£321

Average approximately £234, according to Checkatrade. These are guide prices, not confirmed quotes.

For a routine annual service, I'd start with Ashby Energy and Solent Heating & Cooling. For a breakdown or urgent repair, I'd also contact SKAN Heating.

Before booking, confirm that the engineer works on your particular heat pump make, that the service meets any warranty requirements, and whether the hot water cylinder is included.

What make is your heat pump — Mitsubishi Ecodan, Daikin, Vaillant, Samsung, Grant or something else? I can narrow this down to the most suitable engineers for your system in Petersfield.
