Residential village north of Petersfield on the edge of the South Downs.
Sheet is a village immediately north of Petersfield, separated from the town by the railway line and the River Rother. It is a largely residential village with a strong community identity. The village sits on the edge of the South Downs National Park and has good walking access into the hills above the town.
Sheet has a primary school, a village hall, and a small number of local amenities. Many Sheet residents use Petersfield town centre for shopping and services, and the two communities are closely linked.
