Taxi from Petersfield to Southampton Airport: Who Does It and What to Know

Who does the run

TwentyFour7Cars has a page for Southampton Airport and says it often drives there from the town, Liss, Clanfield and Waterlooville. It also lists business travellers among its regular airport passengers and offers corporate accounts for firms that book often. Other firms whose own websites list this include A2B Taxis Petersfield, 14U Cars Petersfield, Billycars, Petersfield Airport Specialists, Richard B Cars and Duke Taxi Service; the full list of Petersfield taxi firms has their details.

Is the train an option?

Southampton Airport Parkway station is a short walk from the terminal, but there is no direct train from here, so you change on the way. With light luggage and a daytime flight that can work. With an early flight, a family or heavy cases, a car to the door is simpler.

Coming home

Give the firm your return flight number. TwentyFour7Cars says it tracks flights for pick-ups, so a delay does not leave you waiting at the kerb or paying for the driver's wait.

A small airport

Southampton has a single terminal, which makes drop-off and pick-up straightforward. Agree with the firm where the driver will meet you on your return.

Before you confirm

Tell the firm the date, your flight time, how many are travelling and how many bags. Ask whether the price is fixed and what happens if the return flight is delayed. Our airport transfer checklist has the full list of questions.
